Teachers Day In Thailand

Since 1957, Thailand celebrates the 'Teacher's Day in honor of the country, educators and facilitators of learning. Each year, the 16 'Day is celebrated teacher in Thailand in January.
In 1956, Prime Minister of Thailand, Field Marshal P. Pibulsongkram was also the honorary president of the Board of Directors of the Faculty Council. He turned to teachers across the country, said that teachers have a key role in the formation of astudent life and, therefore, students should love and respect their teachers. He also suggested that teachers should be one day have its own and should be used as an opportunity for students to pay respect and homage to their teachers.
It was Marshall P. Pibulsongkram Thailand, which began the concept of "Day of the Teacher in the sense that the people of Thailand celebrated many happy days of his relatives living and dead to pay him. However, it has never been a dayPut aside the teachers who have the same respect that their parents were paid.
After this speech, many teachers agree with what was said to Marshal P. Pibulsongkram. They believe that part of a day that are remembered and honored for his role in the development and manufacture of intelligent and responsible citizens. Thus, in the same year, 1956, Teacher Day Council unanimously approved the Master and Council of Ministers passed a resolution announcing on January 16 as Day of the Master. The first"Teacher's Day was held in Thailand in 1957 and was declared a national holiday today, students perform religious activities and good luck with their teachers for the remainder of the year.
As the Buddhist tradition, teachers are as important as parents, if not more. Teacher's Day as an opportunity to strengthen this and show appreciation to teachers for their work and teaching.
